China’s medical device market revenue reached 734.1 billion RMB (about $120 billion USD) in 2020, making up around 20% of the global medical device market, more than doubling from 308 billion RMB in 2015. This is a market medical device companies cannot ignore.

The Chinese State Council has passed new Medical Device Regulations to replace the existing Medical Device Regulations, which became effective on June 1st, 2021. GDEcD’s trade representative in China will discuss the significant changes to the new regulation and how Georgia companies can take advantage of the vast market opportunities in China.
