Join the Georgia Bio Patient Alliance for our next virtual roundtable discussion highlighting Women and Heart Health on Wednesday, November, 16 at 1 p.m.

Heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the United States with nearly 46,000 women dying from heart attacks in 2017. Women face greater barriers to heart health than men including more vague symptoms, myth that it’s a “man’s disease”, limited clinical studies for women and the medical community having difficulty diagnosing heart issues in women: Compared with men, women are 50% more likely to be misdiagnosed. In chronic illness these barriers become more significant and dangerous.

Join us for an enlightening discussion with our panel:

• Dr. Jayne Morgan, Piedmont Healthcare
• Murem Sharpe, WomenHeart Champion
• Haley Stolp, Million Hearts at CDC
• Tonya O’Bryan, Patient Advocate
