The purpose of the TAG Digital Health Summit is to engage the digital health community on the opportunities and benefits of the rise of person-centric data exchange. COVID-19 and the recent CMS/ONC interoperability rules have fundamentally shifted the landscape in health care to advance value-based care leveraging person-centric health and health care data across systems. The technologies that support this shift will aggregate data from multiple disparate sources, and they are on the rise. These tools and platforms will be an important next step in transforming the health care delivery system through digital technologies.
We will look to address the following questions as part of the “Great Health Care Data Quake”:
- Who will benefit?
- Who will not?
- What are the innovators doing to prepare?
- How do we take care of and protect the most vulnerable?
- Where are the opportunities and threats?
- Will this continue in a new administration?
There will be national speakers and panelists from the White House, Wal-Mart Healthcare, Google Health, Microsoft Health, HHS, CMS, and many well-known companies from national players like Cerner and Allscripts as well as local digital health companies and startups.
