Enjoy this brief interview with Mikele Glaspie, Manufacturing Supervisor at Dendreon. Dendreon is a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company and a pioneer in the development of immunotherapy.

In her interview, Glaspie discusses the responsibilities of her job and what steered her away from chemical engineering towards biology. “I would tell my younger self to embrace the trial and errors. I experienced a lot of disappointment in myself in some of the courses I chose.”

When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Glaspie says, “I really enjoy knowing that my day-to-day activities impact someone else’s life. I want to continue that impact in the years to come.”

A big thank you to Mikele Glaspie for participating in our “Careers in Life Sciences” series, and thank you to Dendreon. We at Georgia Bio are proud of the work they do to make Georgia a leader in the biosciences industry.
